Deception of the time
Dear beloved, I am writing to you this short message, to remind/make you aware that the enemy is in the business of filling the lives of people with all manner and kinds of deception. People are been deceived about music, dress sense, holiness, prayer (in terms of not seeing it very relevant), fasting (in terms of not seeing it very relevant) and many others. Worldliness has now creeped back into the life of many believers, all because care was not taken.
Please begin to intercede for yourself, that God should empty you of any deception as well as keep you from being deceived. I also want you to pray for others as well as praying earnestly for those whom you know are living according to deception. Please the hour has come that we need to stand together and pray. If you know of any one suffering and living in deception or has been deceived please send us a prayer request and we will begin to intercede for them.
Consider strongly the scriptures below
1BUT THE [Holy] Spirit distinctly and expressly declares that in latter times some will turn away from the faith, giving attention to deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons teach, 2 Through the hypocrisy and pretensions of liars whose consciences are seared (cauterized), 3 Who forbid people to marry and [teach them] to abstain from [certain kinds of] foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and have [an increasingly clear] knowledge of the truth. 4 For everything God has created is good, and nothing is to be thrown away or refused if it is received with thanksgiving. 5 For it is hallowed and consecrated by the Word of God and by prayer. 1 Timothy 4:1-5 (AMP)
1 I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long suffering and teaching. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry. 2 Timothy 4:1-5 (NKJV)
